How often should I have a termite inspection?
We recommend having your property professionally inspected at least once every 12 months, in line with Australian Standards. More frequent inspections may be recommended depending on your property's risk factors or previous termite activity.
Are termite treatments safe for my family and pets?

How long does an inspection take?
Most termite inspections take between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the size and accessibility of your property. We'll carry out a thorough assessment and explain our findings before we leave.
Do you send reports?
Absolutely. Every termite inspection includes a detailed report outlining our findings, any evidence of termite activity or damage, conditions conducive to termites, and our recommendations for protecting your property.

Common Termites in South East Queensland

​Coptotermes acinaciformis
The most destructive termite species in Australia and the one responsible for the majority of structural timber damage. They build underground colonies and can cause extensive damage before they're detected.
Nasutitermes walkeri
Often recognised by their distinctive arboreal (tree) nests. While they prefer dead timber and trees, they can invade homes if conditions are suitable.
Microcerotermes
Microcerotermes are small, timber-feeding termites commonly found in South East Queensland. They typically build narrow mud tubes to access timber and can cause damage to fences, decking, pergolas and structural timber if left untreated. Early detection through regular termite inspections is the best way to prevent costly damage.
Schedorhinotermes
A widespread subterranean termite that commonly attacks homes, fences, retaining walls, and timber in contact with the ground. Their colonies are generally smaller than Coptotermes but can still cause significant damage.
